MISSION

The International Trade Council of Greater Kansas City is a regional nonprofit professional association committed to building a strong and successful international business network in the Kansas City region. To achieve this, ITCGKC connects professionals and global partners in the international business and academic communities, delivers timely international trade education, and bridges access to relevant resources.

HISTORY

The International Trade Council of Greater Kansas City was founded during World War II by a group of area business leaders, led by J.C. Nichols, with the purpose of promoting Kansas City’s regional products and trade prospects. Since our founding in 1944 our mission has changed slightly to reflect the times but has retained our core values – to foster development, expansion and education of international trade.
