AI (Artificial Intelligence) is all around us and quickly becoming an integral part of our world. Forget science fiction—AI is here, now, and it’s being put to use in the world of global trade.

Who is using it, what are they doing, what are their objectives?

Matt Motsick is a serial entrepreneur who has been on almost every side of logistics:  trucking, warehousing, third party logistics, transportation management, international forwarding, etc. However in 2007, he decided to start a software company that provided international shipping quotes in seconds.

Matt Motsick became co-founder and CEO of Catapult International, which was one of the first logistics software companies that was developed as a SaaS, web based system.  Matt and his team built the company from 3 employees to over 150 employees within 8 years.  In 2015, Catapult was acquired by the Dubai based firm, Mercator Solutions which was a spinoff from Emirates Airlines.

Matt currently serves as CEO of RPA Labs (www.rpalabs.com), a full service RPA solution for the logistics industry. Using software bots to automate processes, RPA Labs can convert document data into systems seamlessly. Its Email Response Bot can read emails from customers and automatically respond based on their inquiry such as "can I get a shipping quote" and "where's my shipment?".

Join for a light breakfast and heavy discussion of AI.

Free parking is available in the Plaza Library Parking Garage. Enter the office building connected to the library and take the elevator to the fourth floor.
